One of the leading insurance groups in Japan ¡V Millea Asia has recognized our excellent performance and decided to strategically ally with us and to own 30% of Newa¡¦s shares on November 2002. On April 1 2005, Tokio Marine Newa Insurance (as was Allianz President General Insurance), which was under the Millea Group, merged with Newa. The new company is renamed as Tokio Marine Newa Insurance Co., Ltd. Net premiums and the gross premiums written of the new company ranked 2nd and 4th respectively in the market. As for the scope, the new company ranked 2nd in Millea Group¡¦s overseas network.

Tokio Marine Newa has established a 0800 Customer Center to provide 24-hour service. Clients can contact us through the 0800-050-119 hotline whenever they need most professional and most timely reply for their non-life insurance-related enquiries. We also provide Claims Remote Assessing System for confirmation on repair quote, 24-hour on-scene service, 24-hour free roadside rescue, enquiry for insurance and traffic accident-related problems, report to police when accidents occur, follow up of claim, and customer satisfaction survey, etc., to protect the financial interests and lives for the general public.

So far we have developed a REQ system to quantify the level of risk and to provide customers with proposals of how to prevent certain risks and therefore to provide a complete risk management.
